A New York Weekend

This past weekend I traveled to New York City for work. We had the best time finding inspiration at the gift show, visiting a florist in Brooklyn, meeting with a magazine editor, and seeing one of our clients. We left full of new ideas and ready for a Spring filled with weddings.

Cake Balls

The night before I left home my mom, sister, and I made chocolate cake balls...one of my sisters favorites! After combining all of the ingredients together and making the batter, you bake the chocolate cake. Once the cake is baked you mix it together with a can of vanilla icing. Roll these little guys into balls and dip them in melted chocolate. Cool and enjoy!

I think I enjoyed making them more that eating them... and that is not often the case!

New York City

A few days ago I traveled to the big city to visit some of my best friends! We had a ball. Walking all around the city, shopping, eating, and just enjoying being together.

Graphic Images

The other day I came across a blog named "hello hello!". The designer behind the blog works at Kate Spade and lives in Brooklyn. She likes to design and tries to cook... my kinda girl. I really like the images she makes from everyday objects. Playful, colorful, and fun graphics. I messed around on the internet and searched for the real life object of the things she created. Enjoy!

Very fun!
