Eppie's!

Eppie's opened in 2006 on the downtown mall of Charlottesville and ever since it's been serving up southern food with an emphasis on healthy and fresh ingredients found right around the C'ville area! While they may be known for their baked chicken, collard greens, and cornbread, Eppie's offers a HUGE variety of other dishes from local pastas to homemade soups!

Eppie's is a family run business and each employee always has a smile on their face and is willing to offer you a hand in choosing which dish to try that afternoon! The atmosphere is perfect-- a narrow little space filled with booths, tables, and even a little diner inspired bar area. 

I just LOVE the exposed brick walls and they even have some fun art... keeping in perfect Charlottesville tradition. 

What's awesome with Eppie's is once you have finished ordering and are waiting on your food you can take the time to look at the 'community wall' for ideas and inspiration about what is happening around Charlottesville in the upcoming month. I totally love how Charlottesville people support and encourage one another- ONE of the many reasons C'ville rocks! 

Next time you are near the downtown mall and are looking for a quick yet fresh bite to eat try Eppie's. I promise you it's definitely worth it!
