Local home crafted goodies

Every week the farmers market offers fun treats for all ages… and it’s not always just about the fruits and veggies! Local vendors come every Saturday morning bearing gifts including pottery pieces, crochet hats and socks, paintings, and jewelry.  These homemade goods make great keepsakes and presents. Just think… the holidays are RIGHT around the corner.

This year the city decided to extend the dates of the farmers market, allowing it to continue through December, thus increasing our Saturday morning pleasure for two additional months… I cannot think of anything more special.

Head down to the Saturday morning farmers market before it gets too late! There are many gift possibilities for friends and family... everyone enjoys a home crafted treat.

Have a Marvelous Monday... and check back soon!

  1. Hello, dear Libby. Your eleventh grade English teacher is captivated by your beautifully written and photographed blog. Local color, in this case life in and around Charlottesville, fascinates me because I can travel right here at school. My daughter Sarah is a 1st year student at UVA, so I love being able to see some of the sights around her. I hope you are well and happy. Certainly, you have further developed your eye for the beautiful and your words for the common good. Come to visit us at N.A. any time. Love, Kathy Hobbs
